Lateral Link welcomes Trevor Ulbrick as our new Associate Director of Business Development, located out of San Francisco. Trevor will help manage relationships with our corporate clients, both domestically and internationally.  Before joining Lateral Link, Trevor was an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Orrick, Herrington, & Sutcliffe LLP, where he specialized in international litigation and crisis communications. Prior to that, Trevor served as a foreign legal advisor to Justice Elyakim Rubenstein at the Supreme Court of Israel. He has also worked at law firms in Hong Kong and Korea. Trevor is a cum laude graduate of Northwestern University School of Law and holds an M.A. in International Relations from the University of Chicago and a B.A. in Philosophy from Washington & Lee University. Trevor is admitted to the bar in the District of Columbia.

 This past March, we partnered with Katten Muchin Rosenman in Chicago, for our first professional development panel of the year. The focus of the night was career development and long-term career paths.
Panelists included:

- Floyd Mandell – Partner, National Co-Chair of the Intellectual Property Department, Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP

Attendees included a diverse audience of in-house and law firm attorneys. The discussions proved to be both lively and informative, with the panelists sharing unique insiders perspectives on what it takes to become an in-house counsel as well as what it takes to make partner. The evening ended with a cocktail hour which provided the perfect opportunity to network with the panelists and other attendees.
