She earned her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School and later obtained an LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University Law School, demonstrating a high level of technical proficiency. She completed her undergraduate studies at Hamilton College, earning a B.A. in Sociology, and an M.A. in International Studies from the University of Birmingham, U.K.
