Alyssa earned her B.A. in Mass Communication from Louisiana State University, where she concentrated in Public Relations and minored in Business Administration. This communications foundation, combined with 5 years of legal recruiting experience, enables her to build strong relationships, communicate effectively with all stakeholders, and provide candidates with highly personalized, strategic guidance throughout the search process.
She began her legal recruiting career at Haynes and Boone in Houston as a Recruiting Assistant. She then joined Jackson Walker, where she served as a Recruiting Coordinator and led law school recruiting for the Houston office before taking on responsibility for lateral associate hiring across multiple offices, including Austin, San Antonio, and Houston. Alyssa later served as a Senior Recruiting Coordinator at Bracewell, where she deepened her experience in firmwide recruiting operations and attorney support initiatives.
Drawing from her in-house experience, Alyssa transitioned to agency recruiting with Lateral Link, where she partners closely with candidates to help them navigate important career decisions, understand market trends, and access opportunities at top-tier regional and global firms. She also works directly with hiring partners, recruiting managers, and firm leadership to identify talent that aligns with strategic growth needs and long-term firm objectives.
Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, discovering new restaurants, watching new shows, and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and LSU Tigers.
