Jennifer Anderson is a Philadelphia-based Director on the Northeast team, where she focuses on placing attorneys at the associate, counsel and partner levels with top-tier law firms across the country. She is known for her thoughtful, strategic approach to recruitment and her ability to connect highly skilled attorneys with opportunities that align not only with their experience, but also with their long-term professional goals.
Jennifer’s perspective is shaped by a career that spans corporate law, government service, and pro bono advocacy. Before entering the recruiting world, she built a diverse legal background that allows her to speak the language of her candidates and clients with authenticity and depth. After earning her JD from The George Washington University Law School, she worked on both the House and Senate sides of Congress, advising senior lawmakers on legislative and policy issues. She went on to serve as Chief Counsel to a Senator on the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee, where she handled complex legal matters, negotiated bipartisan initiatives, and gained a deep understanding of federal policy and regulatory frameworks.
Jennifer later transitioned to private practice, joining the Investment Management group at Morgan Lewis in Philadelphia. Her work in a highly technical regulatory practice gives her firsthand insight into the demands placed on today’s law firm associates and partners. She continues to draw on this background when advising attorneys looking to make thoughtful and strategic career moves.
Jennifer maintains a strong commitment to public-interest work. She continues to serve as a pro bono attorney representing abused and neglected children—an experience that fuels her dedication to advocacy and her belief in the legal profession’s capacity for meaningful impact.
