Lauren is a Director based in California who specializes in placing partners, counsels, and associates at leading law firms and in-house attorneys at corporate legal departments across California and the Northeast region. With over a decade of experience practicing in Big Law, sophisticated boutiques, and as in-house counsel, Lauren leverages her deep experience and insight of the legal market to guide other attorneys making lateral moves through every step of the process. Lauren
holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from Boston College Law School. She is licensed to practice law in the States of California, New York, and Illinois. Lauren built her career first as a labor and employment law litigator at two boutiques and then retooled from litigation to corporate law, where she spent almost 7 years in Big Law at Ropes & Gray LLP in New York City and then at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP in Los Angeles, focusing on corporate M&A transactions as a specialist in the areas of employment law and executive compensation. Her client base included private equity sponsors, public companies, and private companies in the technology, entertainment, and consumer goods sectors across the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
Lauren’s firsthand experience enables her to offer candidates placement expertise, including with respect to strengthening job applications, resumes, and interview skills. She also adeptly provides practical advice to candidates making lateral moves — especially when they involve a geographical relocation or retooling practice areas — so that they understand expectations, long-term career strategies, and how to excel at any size firm or in-house legal department.

Through her strong relationships, she stays in the knowon the constantly evolving legal market while offering strategic advice to both candidates and employers to secure and fill their ideal placements. Outside of work, Lauren loves traveling, trying new restaurants (especially omakase), hiking around LA with her son, husband, and sheepadoodle, and talking about new food and beverage products in the wellness space.
