Madysen began her career at a highly regarded boutique legal search firm specializing in partner
and partner-group placements at leading Am Law 20 firms and law firm mergers in the United
States and internationally. Through this work, she developed a strong understanding of how
firms grow through strategic lateral hiring and combinations, including team moves designed to
expand client relationships and strengthen practice platforms. She gained insight into how
partners evaluate leadership trajectory and timing when considering a move, as well as how
market conditions influence hiring priorities across practice areas. She later focused her practice
on associate placements in the California market, supporting attorneys in reaching their
professional goals, whether related to firm culture, work-life balance, geography, or long-term
trajectory.

Madysen takes a measured, relationship-driven approach to each search, prioritizing an
understanding of the unique personal and professional considerations that accompany a lateral
move. She curates targeted opportunities and provides a grounded view of current market

Outside of work, Madysen enjoys horseback riding, tennis, and spending time in nature. She is
based in Orange County, California, where she spends quality time with family and friends.
