Sean Hamrin is a Principal with Lateral Link, based in the firm’s Los Angeles office, where he focuses on attorney placements throughout the West Coast. His practice spans Northern and Southern California as well as much of the Pacific Northwest, and he works closely with law firms and attorneys across a wide range of practice areas and seniority levels. With more than a decade at Lateral Link, Sean has grown alongside the company, developing deep, long-standing relationships while contributing meaningfully to the firm’s expansion and success in key legal markets.

Throughout his career, Sean has built a reputation for a thoughtful, relationship-driven approach to legal recruiting. His work is informed by years of experience operating at the highest level of the industry, allowing him to advise both firms and candidates with insight, discretion, and a strong understanding of long-term career strategy. Sean earned his undergraduate degree in the arts from Carnegie Mellon University, graduating with honors. Outside of his work at Lateral Link, Sean is a mixed media sculptor whose artwork has been featured in several local art galleries. He has also appeared in the Nancy Meyers film It’s Complicated, acting opposite Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin. When he is not in Los Angeles meeting with law firms and clients, Sean enjoys spending time with his family in the San Bernardino Mountains, where he balances his professional life with creative pursuits and time outdoors.
